In the field of industrial automation,the increase of information transmission puts forward higher requirements for the performance of industrial control network.To make remote manufacture and management better,enterprises have higher requirements for the real-time performance of industrial control network.Although Ethernet and TCP/IP make up for the shortcomings of Fieldbus in information transmission,industrial control network based on them is still facing new challenges.At present,the majority of the industrial Ethernet use the TCP protocol which ensures the orderly arrival of data packets by its reliable communication mechanism to deal with transmission tasks,so that it can make sure the orderly operation of the industrial control system.While reliable communication mechanisms of TCP lead to bad real-time performance and high usage of system resources.Therefore,Ro CE protocol is used to undertake transmission task instead of TCP protocol for solving those problem in this paper.Based on that,this paper focuses on how the Ro CE protocol is used in industrial control networks.The brief of work is presented as following:1.Based on RDMA,we design a prototype of transmission scheme.In addition,the scheme works as transmission module in the industrial control network;2.We use Ro CE protocol to implement the transmission scheme,as for the details,we use reliable connection to ensure the orderly arrival of message,use event notification and shared receive queue to reduce the resource usage,and use the huge page to improve the performance of the transmission scheme;3.We test and evaluate the transmission scheme in delay,throughput and CPU usage,and the results show that the transmission scheme is better than using TCP,because of its lower delay,higher throughput,and less CPU usage,which show the transmission scheme can be used in communication scenarios which have requirements of low delay and reliable communication.
