A Study On The Reports Of Xi'an Local Media On The Korean Independence Movement During The Anti Japanese War

The academic circles of China and South Korea have discussed the Korean independence movement at different levels and angles.However,in view of the emergence of some new historical materials and research methods,there are still many innovative directions in the research of Korean independence movement,such as news media.This paper attempts to explore the development and success of the Korean independence movement from the perspective of the news media in Xi'an during the Anti Japanese War through the collection and collation of newspapers and archives,so as to make some contributions to the study of the Korean independence movement.The paper is divided into four chapters,the introduction part is mainly on the basis of the article,the status quo of academic research on this issue,research significance and methods are explored.First of all,the paper expounds that after the annexation of South Korea by Japan,Korean revolutionaries began to carry out the movement of independent restoration overseas,and then the Korean interim government was established and received the assistance of the national government.The outbreak of the Pearl Harbor Incident and the change of the form of the domestic anti Japanese war prompted the Korean independence movement and the Korean Provisional Government to take Xi'an as the base camp and carry out a series of Anti Japanese and national restoration struggles.During the Anti Japanese War,the news media in Xi'an developed rapidly,and newspapers and magazines flourished everywhere.The news media carried out a large number of reports on the Korean independence movement,which is conducive to the activities of the Korean people and their revolutionary groups in Xi'an.Secondly,it makes a comprehensive analysis and arrangement of the news reports during the Anti Japanese war.This paper studies the sources and channels of news media reports on the Korean independence movement,and analyzes the composition of the report authors and the motivation behind the reports.During the Anti Japanese War,Xi'an,as the rear area,became the place that revolutionaries in China and South Korea yearned for.News media coverage of the Korean independence movement covers all aspects.This paper discusses these aspects in detail,and explores the process of the Korean independence movement in Xi'an from the perspective of news media.Thirdly,the paper discusses the characteristics of Xi'an newspaper reports on the Korean independence movement.The coverage of the Korean independence movement by the news media is characterized by large amount,continuous coverage of important events,coverage on important pages,attention to the protection of military secrets and different KMT policies at each stage.These characteristics also make us realize that the Korean independence movement is different from the past in the news reports.It also deeply explains the reasons behind the KMT's assistance to the Korean independence movement and the establishment of friendly relations between the Korean interim government.Finally,it expounds the far-reaching influence of the news media on the coverage of the Korean independence movement.The impact is not only It is the funds and materials that help them to fight against Japan and restore their country.It also arouses the patriotic enthusiasm and national feelings of the Korean youth in China,and finally attracts more and more people to join in the fight against Japan and restore their country.The people of China and South Korea fought side by side,established asolid revolutionary friendship,and achieved victory in the war.This is the most glorious page in the history of South Korea's independence movement,which is worth remembering.
