Study On The Agenda Setting Of Environmental Communication In Jiangxi Daily

In recent years,with the deterioration of the natural environment,environmental issues such as water pollution,air pollution,and soil pollution in Jiangxi Province have become more and more important.Either kind of pollution has a huge impact on people's production and life.People don't understand some of the main causes of environmental damage.In this regard,spreading environmental awareness and sufficient environmental knowledge can be regarded as a good way to solve environmental problems.The mass media have the right to deal with environmental information,accumulate environmental problems and transfer environmental risks in order to understand and use nature and solve environmental problems.But in reality,the media is usually irresponsible.Therefore,this article uses Jiangxi Daily,the representative of the media in Jiangxi Province,as the research object to discuss the agenda setting function of mainstream media in environmental communication.Taking July 2017 as the starting point,this paper selects all environmental reports published by Jiangxi Daily from July1,2017 to June 31,2020 as the research object.From the point of view of environmental communication,we pay attention to the agenda setting of mainstream media in environmental communication,and use content analysis method and case analysis method to explore its basic situation and existing problems.Finally,it is found that the lack of negative reports in the agenda setting of the environmental communication of Jiangxi Daily hinders the early warning function,the weak image of the non-governmental subject affects the supervision function,and the lack of in-depth reports leads to the weakening of the educational guidance function.In this paper,we put forward to pay attention to the publicity of environmental reports,avoid excessive positive reports;encourage public participation,balance the expression of different discourse subjects;strengthen the content of in-depth reports,enhance the function of educational guidance;...
