This paper takes the idolating-type network variety shows broadcast on China's online video platforms from 2018 to 2021 as the case,takes Rogers' innovation diffusion theory as the guidance,and uses the method of empirical research to explore the influencing factors of the diffusion of idolating-type network variety shows.Idol cultivation variety shows take the stage as the performance form,take idol group as the purpose,and take fans as the core.Fans have the absolute power to decide the direction of the program.Since 2018,the popularity of online variety shows about idol cultivation has remained high.Such programs are so popular that different programs broadcast in the same period have different degrees of influence.What are the factors affecting the spread of each program and how to promote an idol cultivation network variety show to further expand its influence are the focus of this paper.First of all,based on the analysis of the characteristics of the innovation itself,communication channels,individual innovation and social system of the idolator-forming network variety shows,and combined with the data of participatory observation and literature research,this paper constructs the innovation diffusion model of the idolator-forming network variety shows,and puts forward nine hypotheses.Secondly,a five-point Likert scale was developed,according to which questionnaires were made and distributed randomly.In this paper,a total of 487 valid questionnaires were collected through questionnaire distribution.Statistical software SPSS was used for data analysis and statistical data analysis to analyze the overall distribution of users.The reliability and validity test,correlation and regression analysis were carried out,and the model was finally verified and modified.Through data analysis,evaluation quality,communication channels,personal innovation,discussion degree and personal interest are positively correlated with the adoption of programs and debut idol groups.Different demographics adopt programs at different rates;In the era of new media,the innovation and diffusion process of network variety shows based on idol formation is short.Finally,the author puts forward the countermeasures for the innovation and diffusion of the idolating-type network variety shows,that is,the idolating-type network variety shows should take users as the core and strengthen the compatibility;Innovate program mode,form brand effect;Integrate communication channels,improve communication effect;Pay attention to the training of the debut group,maintain the feelings of fans.
