Research On The Presentation And Attribution Of The Paper's Child Trafficking Issues

Child trafficking is a criminal phenomenon that has existed for a long time and has attracted great public attention.Since 2014,the amount of new media reports on child trafficking issues has continued to increase,and they have exerted a huge influence on such issues.Since child trafficking incidents involve multiple relationships such as sellers,buyers,and victimized families,and there are complex social motivations behind them,media reports will undoubtedly bear corresponding social responsibilities.Based on this premise,the research on the topic of child trafficking in new media is particularly important.This study takes the report of The Paper on the topic of child trafficking as the research object.Through the use of news framework theory and responsibility attribution theory,the paper discusses which part of the report of The Paper mainly focuses on presentation and how to classify the reasons for the problem of child trafficking in order to reflect on the reports of such topics.The study found that the reporting framework of The Paper has obvious characteristics.From a high-level structure,The Paper presents thematic structures such as "Fact Statement Framework","Law and Policy Framework",and "Regression and Adaptation Framework";From the mid-level structure,The Paper's schematic structure is "plots Framework”,attribution tendencies are “fragmental framework” and“individual responsibility framework”;From the low-level structure,The Paper's reports have the characteristics of a source structure of "victims,criminals and other event parties" and a method of setting headlines and keywords with the category of"actors" mostly.This study believes that new media reports on child trafficking issues have problems such as lack of expert discourse,strong emotional color in the report text,and single attribution.We should reflect on the three aspects of social control function,news production principles,and multi-angle attribution.
