The world today is at the latter half of the ICT Industry Era that started from 1980 s,which is the application period of Information and Communication Technologies.At this time,Cloud Computing is becoming one of the most important base technologies which empowers economy transformation and high-quality development.Chinese central government is putting more and more attention on Cloud Computing,listing it at the core position at the New Digital Infrastructure Strategy.As a result,it is with great importance to research Cloud Industry,especially Cloud Service Providers and thus comes this research.Firstly,this research studies previous scientific research results on cloud computing and cloud providers at home and abroad.Secondly,it finds sufficient theory support from the theory of Knowing Effect and the theory of Differentiating Competing Advantages.Combining the findings from these two steps,this research finds a rough direction.After that,this research looks for methods from Competitive Intelligence Analysis,finding Text Feature Analysis,Knowledge Graph and Data Envelopment Analysis can be of great help.Thus,this research has a clear theory basis,methods pool,and technical roadmap.During data collection,this research firstly consults industry experts to look for accessible data source and practical research field,and then collects data by code reptile and manual work.During data cleaning,to minimize personal cognitive defects,this research asks industry experts for recommendations again.During the empirical research process this research follows a 4-step study.Firstly,this research proves the Knowing Effect in the circumstance of the research's textile,contributing the interpretability of next studies.Secondly,this research chooses word frequency as the weight of text feature,using it to compare and contrast the product difference among all cloud service providers.To make it more readable,the research also uses word-cloud to visualize the differences.Next,the research uses Neo4 j to establish the knowledge graph between cloud service providers and their clients,digging more information behind it.Last but not least,the research uses CCR model and BCC model to conduct DEA research.After coding with python3,the research analyzes the input-output from the aspects of efficiency,scaling revenue,and data change.After the above studies,the research has some findings.For the whole domestic cloud computing industry:(1)cloud service providers pay more attention on Paa S than Iaa S;(2)cloud has quantities of interactions with Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things;(3)education,manufacture,health,finance,as well as government affairs are the major focuses of cloud providers;(4)the variety and quantity of products,solutions and industries have impact on cloud providers' market share;(5)technical efficiency is higher than overall efficiency.As for the difference among cloud providers:(1)while keeping input in Artificial Intelligence,Security and Developers,every cloud provider has its own special focused fields,building their own competitive advantages;(2)apart from mostly focused industries,Alibaba Cloud put much attention on government and manufacture,Tencent Cloud and Kingsoft Cloud focus on audio and video,Baidu Intelligent Cloud focuses on Finance,and Huawei Cloud and E Cloud put much attention on Energy and IIo T;(3)though trying to differentiate,clients of cloud providers mostly come from the same 10 industries,it is quite rare to see unique client sources;(4)the competitive efficiency of Baidu Intelligent Cloud is the lowest among all providers while Alibaba Cloud,Huawei Cloud,E Cloud,AWS CN,and AZURE CN have high efficiency;(5)among those providers with DEA less than 1,it all shows Increasing Returns to Scale,expanding is quite a good choice for them all.Besides these application findings,this research also has 3 theoretical contributions.(1)it expands the influence of Knowing Effects;(2)it proves adding Knowledge Graph and Data Envelopment Analysis into Competitive Intelligence Analysis does both good to theory and application research;(3)it provides direction to modify CCR models.As the first research applying Competitive Intelligence Analysis Methods,especially Knowledge Graph and Data Envelopment Analysis,into the study of hightech,this research shows an sample of further utilizing quantitative method and indicates the improvements of Competitive Intelligence Analysis Methodology.
