In today's digital transformation of society,social media has been widely used by organizations and individuals with advantages of interactivity,timeliness,and sharing,and has become the main medium for information dissemination.Obtaining information through social media has become an important means for people to obtain information in daily life,and using social media to provide services has become an inevitable trend in social development.The development and utilization of archive resources has always been an important direction in the field of archives.The emergence of social media has brought opportunities for the development and utilization of archive resources.Archival agencies have realized this and began to use social media to provide archive services to users.In this context,combined with the characteristics of social media,archive resource push services have become one of the most popular models of archive services at this stage.Studying the needs of social media users for archive resources will help a rchive agencies use social media to achieve more targeted push services and gi ve play to the important value of archive resources in social development.Thr ough user surveys,quantitative analysis methods are adopted to research and a nalyze the demand for pushing archive resources of social media users.Throug h the typical cases of domestic and foreign archives institutions using social m edia to provide services,analyze the push content,push form and push time,e tc.,and find out the shortcomings of domestic applications of social media to push archive resources.Combining the results of research analysis and case an alysis,from the perspective of user needs,propose strategies to optimize the ar chive resource push service in social media.User survey results show that the needs of social media users for pushing archive resources are mainly manifested as: diverse archive resource media presentation requirements,rich archive resource theme requirements,stable archive resource push frequency requirements,cross-platform push and personalized push requirements.The current problems of archives organizations using social media to provide archive resource push services include: low level of archive resource development,single format of archive resource push,insufficient types of social media applications,lack of targeted push services,and low profile user interaction rate.Based on the research results,it is proposed that the level of archive resource push services should be improved in three aspects: multi-channel enrichment of archive resources,multi-channel use of social media,and multi-level matching of user needs.
