With the development of information technology,satellite communication plays an irreplaceable role.Bandwidth and interference are the key issues in satellite communication systems.The thesis presents a Ka-band satellite high-speed frequency-hopping converter.A large channel bandwidth,strong anti-jamming ability and anti-intercept ability are achieved in the design.In this thesis,a high-speed frequency-hopping up-converter and a down-converter are designed and implemented.The up-converter converts the digital modulation signal in the L-band into a Ka-band frequency-hopping radio-frequency signal with a bandwidth of1.6GHz.Measurement results show that the phase noise values at 100 Hz,1k Hz,10 k Hz,100 k Hz and 1MHz offset from the frequency are better than-77 d Bc/Hz,-89 d Bc/Hz,-97 d Bc/Hz,-100 d Bc/Hz and-108 d Bc/Hz,respectively.In 1.6GHz,the in-band spurious suppression is greater than 50 d Bc and the out-of-band spurious suppression is greater than60 d Bc.The gain of the up-converter is greater than 30 d B.The down-converter receives a frequency-hopping signal with a bandwidth of 1.6GHz in the Ka-band.It converts the signal to an intermediate frequency signal with a center frequency of 1.2GHz.The phase noise values at 100 Hz,1k Hz,10 k Hz,100 k Hz and 1MHz offset from the frequency are better than-75 d Bc/Hz,-93 d Bc/Hz,-100 d Bc/Hz,-103 d Bc/Hz and-111 d Bc/Hz,respectively.The spurious suppression is greater than 50 d Bc and the gain is greater than 40 d B.A pair of high-speed frequency-hopping up-converter and down-converter is designed,fabricated and measured.High speed frequency hopping in 1.6GHz bandwidth is achieved.The frequency configuration time is 50 us and switching time is less than 50 ns.It has the advantages of short guard period and 20000 hops a second,which is suitable for anti-jamming satellite communications.
