Research On The Image Of Youth Role Models In The Special Edition Of "People's Daily New Youth"(2013-2019)

In the historical period of system transition and social transformation and the era of multiple values,it is of great significance to create a role model image of youth with distinctive characteristics that can resonate widely,and to guide contemporary youth to establish correct values and adopt good behavior.Against this background,the “People 's Daily” launched a special edition of “New Youth” in 2013,actively taking on the important task of shaping the role model of youth in the new era.In order to investigate the gains and losses of the "New Youth" special edition in shaping youth role models,the thesis adopts the literature analysis method,content analysis method and in-depth interview method,focusing on analyzing the basic framework and results of the "New Youth" special edition shaping youth role models.On the basis of the feedback from the audience,we will further discuss how to shape the role model image of youth in the new era.The news frame is the basic means of media image construction,generally including the triple operation of macro frame,meso frame and micro frame.Specifically,the special edition of "New Youth" prefers to choose the reporting theme of the personal growth level of the youth in the selection of news reporting materials at the macro level,and sticks to the position of the youth;in the reorganization and construction of the news material at the meso level,the report structure is used flexibly,Report space,report tone,news genre,report presentation form,report perspective,time frame;in the expression of news content at the micro level,it emphasizes the use of neutral headline tone to objectively reveal the news content,attaches importance to the use of generalized introduction,and takes facts as the basis Direct quotes from the Lord,etc.Eventually,a diversified image of youth role models was presented from the aspects of politics,science and technology culture,economic law,social ecology,and youth personal growth.The diversified youth role models created by the special edition of "New Youth" have triggered a more dominant decoding,which shows that its news framework can guide and restrict the audience's interpretation of information.The study found that the advantages of the new youth model image creation in the "New Youth" special edition include: de-labeling in the modeling of the model image;creating a diversified and three-dimensional image of the youth model that ordinary people can copy;Present a diverse voice.Its shortcomings are mainly reflected in: the news report has a tendency to be patterned;the reporting theme highly matched with the official will,and it is easy to have a sense of distance from the youth group;the media and youth media contact habits are misaligned.In response to the problem,the author starts from the perspectives of youth role model reporting,reporting content,reporting format,enhancing audience interaction,and expanding communication channels,and puts forward corresponding suggestions in order to enhance the influence and persuasion of the "New Youth" special edition youth role model reporting.
