With the development of "Qian Ren Qian Mian" technology and personalized services,traditional media,such as newspapers,magazines,books,are increasingly being replaced by Internet products.And it shows that the sales volume of traditional media is declining.As an inspirational abstract magazine aiming at middle school students,Yilin has accumulated sales of150 million copies since its launch,which makes Yilin jump to the first square of abstract journals.However,Yilin is also influenced by the Internet.Yilin urgently needs to understand the needs of today's middle school students and saves itself on the Internet tide.After communicating with Yilin Group,the survey was conducted from June 2019 to December 2019.This survey adopts a combination of offline and online methods.The sample survey was conducted in a middle school in Datong,Shanxi Province.The convenient survey was conducted on the Yilin fans through QQ group to remove the geographical limitations of offline surveys.The purpose of this survey is to understand the situation of Yilin's middle school reader including their satisfaction and suggestions.A total of 1,783 valid samples were collected,of which 1,269 were offline surveys and 514 were online surveys.This article first illustrates the current situation of middle school student' reading and purchasing habits about Yilin Magazine;secondly,in order to understand the strengths and weaknesses of Yilin,it compares the importance of 12 factors related to packaging and printing,appearance art,column content,and purchase process to middle school students when they buy magazines and also compares the satisfaction of middle school students on Yilin Magazine towards these factors;subsequently,a structural equation model is established to quantify the influence direction and degree of each factor on the satisfaction of Yilin;finally,the article explores the suggestions of middle school students on the type of cover,the frequency of illustrations,the type of popular articles and the content of new sections.The study found that there are few channels for middle school students to know about Yilin Magazine.Yilin has an advantageous position in the quality of content and printing,but middle school students are less satisfied with prices,ease of purchase,and frequency of publication.The magazine's packaging and printing,appearance art,article content,purchase process,readers' expectations,and the matching of readers' perceptions and expectations all have a significant impact on the satisfaction of middle school students with Yilin.Article quality and appearance art are the most important components that affect readers' feelings.Besides,middle school students of different genders,grades or liberal arts subjects have significant differences in the suggestion of Yilin Magazine.In view of the above conclusions,it is recommended that Yilin Magazine should add more columns and improve the degree of exquisiteness;attach importance to the quality of the article and deepen its own cultural connotation;publish electronic journals on reading websites or reading apps;use social network platforms to communicate with readers and strengthen offline interaction with readers to increase the popularity of Yilin.
