Research On Social Education Activities Of Xi'an Museum

Modern museums regard education as the primary function and task of museums,and museums are more clear as social education institutions.Providing education services to the public is the main social function of museums.The social education department of museum is the executive department of museum social education affairs,and it is responsible for the function of museum social education.At present,one of the important tasks of the museum social education department is to plan and implement social education activities.Museum social education activities are the supplement and extension of exhibition,emphasizing interactive experience,being favored by the audience,and become an important way to play the social education function of museums.At the same time,the promotion of the level of museum social education activities has become the theme of the museum social education department to consider.Since the establishment of Xi'an Museum in 2007,great progress has been made in all aspects of its work,especially in social education.With the achievements and support of the whole academy,the education promotion department has made a series of achievements,built a special education space,strengthened foreign cooperation,planned and implemented original social education activities,forming a social public education pattern of traditional festival culture and social education activities,normal social education activities and social education activities of foreign cooperation,and some of them have become excellent cases of social education activities of museums in China and the whole province.Although the social education activities of Xi'an Museum have made great progress,the promotion and development is still the key.This paper selects representative social education activities,through comparative analysis,finds that the social education activities of Xi'an Museum have deficiencies in audience research,resource development and utilization,organization and management mode and activity evaluation.Therefore,the education and Promotion Department of Xi'an Museum should learn from the experience,pay attention to the audience research,and run through the three stages of social education activities;develop and utilize the university resources and cultural relics resources around the Xi'an Museum,and cooperate with other departments of the museum to innovate the organization and management mode of social education activities,and carry out the focus and integration management At the same time,an evaluation system suitable for the social education activities of Xi'an Museum should be established in order to improve the social education activities of the museum.
