Research On The Change Of Occupational Identity Of Typical Characters In People's Daily (1949-2019)

The People's Daily uses typical figures to publicize the principles and policies of the Party and the country.It is an important means of political propaganda of the Party and plays an important role in the national revolution,construction and reform process.This paper sorts out the identities of typical characters reported by People's Daily in different periods since the founding of the People's Republic of China,and summarizes the characteristics of typical character reports and the reasons for the changes.It is convenient for us to understand and understand different historical backgrounds and sketch the characteristics of the times by showing the changes of political society and the changes of typical characters' identities since the founding of New China.The paper divides the 70-year history of New China into five periods,respectively describing the soldiers who went to the Korean battlefield,the workers and peasants who devoted themselves to the socialist construction.The typical soldiers and cadres in the "Cultural Revolution" frenzy;At the beginning of the reform and opening up,there are three types of typical figures,namely agricultural technicians,scientists and the people's police.Under the market economy system,there are three types of typical figures,namely,party and government cadres,people's teachers and entrepreneurs.Three types of typical figures have emerged since the new century,including medical workers,athletes and astronauts.At the beginning of New China,all social undertakings were in ruins.At this time,the most urgent task is to concentrate all efforts to resume production in all fields of industry and agriculture.Workers and peasants typically occupied the majority of the typical figures in this period.The typical soldiers who took the lead in the war to resist U.S.aggression and aid Korea are also the focus of the People's Daily at this time.If the People's Daily from 1950 to 1953 focused on the patriotic and internationalist volunteers for the war to resist U.S.aggression and aid Korea,then the People's Daily after 1954 placed more emphasis on the typical soldiers who loved the people and supported the socialist construction.In the "Cultural Revolution" period,the typical soldiers and cadres were endowed with the connotation of "revolutionary" and "struggle",and were branded as "highlighting politics" and "following Chairman Mao",inevitably with the characteristics of centralization and standardization.After the reform and opening up,a large numberof agricultural technicians led the peasants along the road of scientific farming.In1978,the National Science Conference was held,which dispelled the gloomy atmosphere of ignoring intellectuals and ushered in the "spring of science".The people's police are responsible for punishing criminals,protecting the people and building an advanced public security team.Since the 14 th National Congress in1992,China's economic system has officially moved towards a socialist market economy,with various ideological and cultural concepts colliding fiercely.In such a society with diversified value choices,it is particularly important to set up models in different fields and rely on these models to transmit consistent and progressive values.Since the new century,the spirit of women's volleyball and the spirit of space flight have taught us to become builders of socialist cause who love our posts and work hard,have no distractions,and work hard.The sixth chapter is a summary of the laws that have changed in the 70-year history for the different professional identities of soldiers,workers,peasants and social elites.Typical reports of military personnel have gradually become populist and elitist.The worker-peasant model is changing to a knowledge-based and skill-based model.In addition to their innovative spirit and entrepreneurial passion as before,corporate elites also embody more social responsibilities and responsibilities.The practical,honest and learning characteristics of Party members and cadres are the new connotation given by the times.The intellectual elite,relying on the "craftsman spirit",has a place in the social discourse of realizing the Chinese dream.
