This article selects the Chinese online fan group of the Japanese idol group "Arashi" as the research sample,and uses the research methods of observation and in-depth interviews to analyze the thoughts and behaviors of the online fan group,and further explore the identity construction of the Chinese fan group in the new media era problem.Starting from cultural phenomena,this article discovers three ways for fans to construct their own identities:in the process of using media in daily life,fans take star-following as a personal hobby,allowing individuals to feel a sense of security;and the transformation of identity to idol phenomena In order to construct their own identity;viewing idols as a transitional object,the relationship between fans and idols has become a transitional field for fans.In the"dialogue" with the outside of the group,the identity of the group is mainly manifested in the positive guidance of opinion leaders and the"gift economy" model.Fans try to actively marginalize themselves with a culture of"autonomy" and use different identities.Identifies and draws a line from other fan groups.Of course,in the current complex public opinion environment of Weibo,facing different groups and diverse values,the entire Chinese online fan community is facing various identity crises,such as younger age,irrational consumption,etc.,by comparing Chinese and Japanese online fans The differences between groups can be seen:reasonable supervision is necessary.In addition,many fans are in the process of idol worship,further understanding and identification of a part of Japanese culture,which has certain enlightenment for the spread of Chinese culture to the outside world.For example,by cultivating high-quality idols to go abroad,and telling Chinese stories through idols,so that Chinese stories can be spread and spread farther.However,in a fan culture environment full of opportunities and challenges,how to solve the current identity crisis faced by Chinese online fan groups,how to seize this fast-growing fan economic opportunity,and how to spread Chinese culture through fan culture requires the joint thinking and efforts of fans,the media and the government.
