Based on the 5G candidate frequency band 24.25-27.5GHz(referred to as 24GHz band)proposed by the International Telecommunication Union at the WRC-19 conference, and combined with national planning and use of relevant radio services in this frequency band, interference between the base station of 24GHz millimeter-wave communication system(MCS)and vehicle radar system are studied and analyzed. The main works of this paper are as follows:Firstly, the main technology of 24GHz MCS and the basic architecture of vehicle radar system are analyzed, including output signal frequency, echo signal power and Doppler shift.Secondly, based on the principle of triangle wave FMCW signal, and external field interference measurements, the interference of speed and distance of the 24GHz MCS base station to the vehicle radar system are investigated, and the minimum target values of RCS under the typical measurement distance of sensitivity are studied.Thirdly, the deterministic interference of 24GHz cluster vehicle radar to base station of MCS is studied based on the actual interference scene. Moreover, the path loss model and link budget under the LOS and NLOS situations are proposed. Finally, the dynamic interference caused by randomly distributed cluster vehicles to the base station of MCS on urban highways is simulated and analyzed. In this paper, based on the current situation of 24GHz frequency band planning, reasonable reference models and equipment parameters are selected, and system-level simulation is established to analysis the interference between the base station of 24GHz MCS and vehicle radar system. The results can provide the reference solution and important application value for the design of 5G MCS and vehicle radar system in the future.
