With the increase of safety requirements in traffic area,K-band radar catches more attention in anti-collision application.Different from airbag and other passive safety precautions,anti-collision radar can perceive in advance and avoid accidents actively,which undoubtedly adds another layer of protection to the driver's safety.As result,this technology wins the favor of both car buyers and manufactures and is being used more and more widely.In this theis,firstly,the research background and significance of the research,the development process of foreign anti-collision radar,the research status of domestic anti-collision radar,the main work and structure of the theis is introduced.Then,according to the application requirements,system architecture is selected and parameters of the radar system are determined.After that,the link budget simulation of system is carried out to verify the feasibility of the module index.Then,according to the module index,low noise amplifier module and the quadrature mixer module are designed,simulated using ADS and HFSS and then processed in real terms.The measured low noise amplifier has a gain greater than 16.1dB and noise figure less than 2.8dB,the input and output return loss less than-12dB in the operating frequency band,the measured quadrature mixer has a convert gain greater than-15.8dB when local oscillator power is 17dBm,has a RF-LO port isolation better than 45dB.The low cost and easy integration front end key components for the automotive anti-collision radar system are mainly designed.A system analysis and design flow is also provided to facilitate further overall design of the system.
