Factory Youth's Media Representation In Kuaishou Short Video

As the backbone of the development of socialist modernization,the workers have always been the focus of attention and reports.In recent years,with the rapid development of media technology,video technology devolution,video online production and transmission technology gradually mature,promoting short video social media platform ushered in explosive growth.The image of workers on the short video platform is very different from that reported in the past.On these platforms,most of the workers will be based on the material space of the factory,recording their work and life status,and publish in the platform in the way of positioning.Through the display of daily life,workers gradually change from constructors to producers in the process of media content production and dissemination.Based on the related literature of media reproduction,space production and short video,this paper makes use of discourse analysis and text analysis to study the short video of Dongqu Miner Village in Taiyuan,Shanxi Province.Multimodal discourse analysis was used to transcribe the short video samples.The visual and auditory framework was used to analyze the representation of the young people in the factory.Second,from the basic space,mosaic space,integration space of the three perspectives of the factory youth using the rapid production of the characteristics of social space were analyzed.The third is to explore the factory young people to reproduce such image characteristics of the motivation.Through interviews with factory youth,this paper analyzes the social environment of factory youth,and sums up the motivations of group norms,cultural context and platform commercialization.The study found that the characteristics of factory youth in the hands of fast reproduction are prominent in the production process of short video space,in terms of subdivision,there are three features.Secondly,short video,as a platform,realizes the combination of virtual space and physical space,which is mainly manifested in grasping certain discourse right and spatial narrative right;Thirdly,virtual and reality interweave to form a cyber-factory space,in which individual social relations are fused and constructed.
