Chinese Rock Music In Beijing Youth Daily Research On News Reports (1986-2019)

In 1949,Beijing Youth Daily was founded in Beijing.In the profound changes of Chinese society and historical and cultural scenes,it continued to reform and develop along with the times.Witnessed and recorded the transformation of Chinese society in layout,topic selection,description of events and characterization,and naturally witnessed the development and changes of Chinese rock music.Beijing Youth Daily always reports and analyzes social phenomena from an objective and professional perspective.Rock music,as a part of youth culture,reflects the living conditions,spiritual feelings and psychological needs of young people.Facing a group of rebellious and active social groups,Beijing Youth Daily has always been based on the social front,reporting the latest rock and roll news at home and abroad to the broad masses of young people and readers,and always insisting on truthfulness and objectivity in reporting rock and roll events and figures,guiding correct youth values and rock and roll public opinion orientation.The growth track of Beijing Youth Daily has experienced three ups and downs,which is similar to the tortuous development of Chinese rock music.In this paper,the text,genre,layout and news pictures of rock and roll reports of Beijing Youth Daily from 1986 to 2019 were analyzed,and the literature research method and text analysis method were used to explore the changes and historical background of rock and roll reports of Beijing Youth Daily in these 33 years.Through research,it is revealed that under the operation of commercial capital,social ideology and mass media,rock music has gradually added some other characteristics on the basis of free images such as personality liberation,simplicity,flexibility,independence,etc.In the process of following the construction of spiritual civilization,it preaches and advocates the spirit of peace,friendship,green environmental protection and self-improvement.And from the horizontal context of reporting,it explains the relationship between mainstream media and youth group culture,which is not stuck to the rules and mutually exclusive,but the relationship between them is constantly changing in their respective development,from exclusion-criticism to interaction-dialogue,understanding in interaction and alienating in intimacy.In addition,the coverage of rock music in Beijing Youth Daily is also changing in the process of development,that is,the reporting object is from Cui Jian individual to the whole industry,the reporting tendency is from negative mention to positive guidance,the news subject is from short message and discussion to close-up and in-depth interview,and the coverage range is from small domestic news to large international circle.Finally,the article analyzes the phenomenon of rock music reporting from the aspects of music legal system,musicians' quality,commercial interests,technical level,economic environment,media competition,publicity and education,and values,etc.,reflects on the problems existing in the reporting,and puts forward solutions.
