On The Construction And Dissemination Of Fan Culture In Idol Cultivation Variety From The Perspective Of Interactive Ritual Chain Theory

In recent years,a new program form,Idol Cultivation Variety,has set off a wave of star-making in China.The program records and shows the growth process of trainees in front of the stage and behind the scenes.After watching the program,the audience can vote through designated channels,and select single-digit trainees from the crowd to form a limited group to officially debut.The process of high interaction,long-term companionship and common growth in the program is the process of fans "cultivating" idols.In the process of "cultivation",fans participated in the whole process of making stars and boys and girls,and witnessed the growth and transformation of idols.Under the background of Internet,the market scale of idol cultivation variety shows continues to increase in volume,which has brought profound influence and changes to people's spiritual and cultural life.As a phenomenal entertainment and cultural program,China's idol cultivation programs have built and spread a new fan culture,but there are also many risks that need to be vigilant.Based on Collins' classic interactive ceremony chain,this paper takes the idol-cultivating variety show "Youth You 2",which is popular all over the network in early 2020,as a sample analysis method,observes the whole process of selecting women's groups in the program,analyzes the interactive behavior and characteristics of fans in the program,outlines the basic model of interactive ceremony between idols and fans in this program,and selects the fan representatives of the top three idols in the program for in-depth interviews to interpret the choice of media and the construction of discourse among fans,so as to explore From the exploration,it is found that the broadcast of idol cultivation variety shows actually provides virtual places for many fans,and social networking sites establish identity and emotional connection for fans.In the process of interaction,fans achieve group unity and gain individual emotional energy.Their series of emotional labor contributed to the "cultivation" of idols to a certain extent,forming a unique fan culture.The fan culture constructed by cultivating idol-like talent show is characterized by strong participation,high investment and easy stigmatization.It also shows the great cultural significance of fans from passively accepting idol information to actively producing cultural content,as well as the integration and anti-integration of mainstream culture and fan culture.Finally,combined with the status quo of idol-cultivating variety shows,the author thinks about the problems in the development process.Bad idol demonstration,fan conflict and false empowerment of capital have brought a series of negative influences.In the future development process,the benign development of fan culture needs to be promoted by various parties.It is suggested that the audience should jump out of this online interactive carnival and treat idols with a more rational attitude.Relevant platforms should also pay attention to social benefits,conduct positive cultural guidance and standardize the management mechanism of fan community,so as to form a correct and positive fan culture.
