2014 is considered to be the first year of domestic Online variety shows.Domestic online variety shows continue to create new heights in terms of investment,viewer clicks,and advertising revenue.A large number of video websites have put more funds into self-made variety shows.In recent years,China's self-produced variety shows on the Internet,from 2014 i Qiyi's Let's Talk,2015 i Qiyi's the god of songs,2016 Youku Video's Mars Intelligence Agency,2017 i Qiyi's The Rap of CHINA,Tencent Video's adventure life in 2018,Mango TV's Daughter's Love in 2019 to Mango TV's Older Sisters Who Brave the Winds and Waves in 2020,all these network self-made variety shows have great strength in term of program funding,team,joing stars and etc.Also,won a double harvest of reputation and clicks.However,along with the maturity of online self-made variety shows,some problems have been gradually exposed such as rough production,lack of in diversity and creativity.In this context,"Star Detective" a new type of show,came into being.Who's the murderer is a reality show of star reasoning launched by Mango TV.Once it was launched,it has gained extremely high broadcast volume and good reputation on the Internet.As the leader of network self-made variety shows,Who's the murderer is worthy of in-depth analysis and research on the innovative strategy of the show.Also,to summarize its successful experience and shortcomings,in order to provide experience and enlightenment for the development of network self-made variety shows in our country.The study takes Who's the murderer as the object to analyze,and the main body includes four parts: the first part combs the program content of Who's the murderer from the first season to the sixth season,and analyzes it from three aspects: program theme,program story content and program guests.The second part focuses on the innovation of the program form.First,it pays attention to the scene setting and props of the program,and finds that the program creates an immersive experience for the audience through the construction of real space and the use of exquisite props;second,it states the innovation of the program in audio-visual language from the aspects of picture language and auditory language;thirdly,it analyzes the characteristics and innovation of the program's post-production from the two aspects of post-editing and special effects subtitles of Who's the murderer.Starting with the theory of "use and satisfaction",the third part analyzes the communication concept of the program,and then summarizes its innovation in communication channels.The fourth part is the problems existing in the program and the inspiration of innovation strategy,which lists the problems of Who's the murderer and summarizes the thinking and innovative strategies of the program,in order to provide enlightenment for the development of online self-made variety shows in the future.Who's the murderer has achieved good communication effect by setting up novel and socially value program content,which is different from the traditional variety show form.Taking Who's the murderer as an example,this paper summarizes the program text of Who's the murderer from three aspects: program content,program form and program communication strategy,and summarizes the innovative features of Who's the murderer.Although there are still some problems in Who's the murderer,it has achieved good results in program innovation.It's helpful to further develop the self-made variety show by sorting out and summarizing the innovative strategies of the program.
