The high-quality development of higher education is intertwined with the new needs of library and information science,so we have to consider the issue of keeping pace with the times of the subject service platform: the advancement of the traditional subject service platform to the intelligent subject service platform.As the2.0 model of the traditional subject service platform,the intelligent subject service platform is of great significance to alleviate the severe status of user needs that are difficult to meet.Therefore,this research is based on the current development of subject service platforms,analyzes the needs of users in universities for intelligent subject service platforms,and hopes to explore feasible ideas for the transformation of the platform from traditional to intelligent through the design and construction of intelligent subject service platforms and service functions.This research is carried out in accordance with the logical thinking of platform status,user needs,core architecture,and core modules.First of all,through online research,it is found that among 42“double first-class”universities,18 universities have established subject service platforms on the official website of the library.However,the existing subject service platform is not yet mature,and there are still many problems,such as subject service platform goals.The positioning and service system are not clear,the service content is relatively traditional,the maintenance and update mechanism is absent,and the degree of intelligence is low.Secondly,through interviews and grounded theoretical research and analysis methods,it is concluded that users have 11 types of needs,including information query and appointment needs,resource acquisition needs,feedback management needs,information push needs,virtual service needs,guidance and assistance needs,and literacy improvement.And education needs,social interaction needs,space service needs,decision-making service needs,targeted needs,and then this study according to the KANO model to divide various types of needs into three levels: basic,expectation,and attractive.Third,the research carried out the design based on the preliminary status investigation and demand investigation,and constructed the overall structure of the intelligent subject service platform including the user interaction layer,the intelligent service layer,the information processing layer,the technical support layer,and the data resource layer;Designed the structure of business processing flow with data acquisition system,demand analysis system,intelligent label system,behavior prediction system,service application system,and data exchange system.The research puts forward the key technical architecture of the intelligent subject service platform,including data perception and monitoring,data collection and calculation,intelligent analysis and processing,and service intelligence.Finally,the research designs six service modules,including user service management,subject resource services,subject knowledge services,subject space services,subject product services,and characteristic special services,as well as specific service functions under each module.And we can use these to accurately connect users' multiple types of needs for the platformFacing multiple challenges and tests,it is inevitable that the subject service platform will be advanced to the intelligent type.The core architecture and service modules of the intelligent subject service platform designed in this research will help enrich the current research system on the subject service platform,and also provide new ideas for university libraries to carry out intelligent service research and practice.
