| Since the introduction of the first Korean drama Jealousy in 1993,Korean dramas have been spread in China for 27 years.Korean dramas have become more and more popular,a round of another round of discussion upsurge in recent years,which shows that the Korean dramas have become more and more influential in China.In 2013,both "My Love from the Stars " and "The Heirs" receiving rave reviews when broadcasted in China.In 2015,Korean dramas have received by even more audience,such as "Reply 1988","Descendants of the Sun","The Lonely and Great God" and "Crash Landing on You",which has sparked a burgeoning "Hallyu"phenomenon in China.In particular,"Crash Landing on You" has broken the previous record of viewing and discussion of high-quality Korean dramas,becoming another"dark horse" the occupied the Chinese market.The paper choose the "Crash Landing on You" as an example,this essay will take the intercultural communication theory and encoding/decoding theory as the theoretical basis,combines with the "7W model of intercultural communication" as the analytical framework to deeply analyze the reasons why this drama have gain such high popularity in China and the expression degree of its communication force,and sum up the feasible rules of Korean dramas in the path of intercultural communication capacity construction,so that to provide some reference for Chinese TV dramas on the direction of intercultural communication.In order to assess the text content characteristics and audience perception of this Korean drama,the study methodology included text analysis,questionnaire surveys,and interviews,it is found that the reason for the popularity of "Crash Landing on You" is mainly reflected in the capacity of communicators and audiences to successfully encode and decode information.Furthermore,the model of intercultural communication capacity building of the TV play has achieved good results in terms of intensity,depth,breadth and authority under the influence of five influential factors,namely,communication ecology,content encoding,communication channels,communication scope and audience decoding.Also,the play demonstrates a pattern of multilateral assistance in the development of our country’s intercultural communication capabilities,under the support of government and producers content creation space expands unceasingly,interaction between the north and South Korea’s symbolic images,video web site,the variety of new media provide channels,as well as the decoding mode of mutual negotiation between the communicator and the audience,makes "Crash Landing on You" once again be the phenomenon of detonating network level of south Korean television dramas.This paper is divided into six parts.The introduction will introduce the research background,research purpose,domestic and foreign research status,research methods and problems,research ideas and theoretical basis of Korean dramas.The first chapter will introduce the four environments and four stages of Korean drama transmission in China.The second chapter interprets the intercultural communication capacity of"Crash Landing on You" from the perspective of encoding,that is,analyzes the encoded meaning structure of the TV play mainly from the perspective of communicators.The third chapter looks at the group characteristics,audience decoding mode and communication effect of "Crash Landing on You" from the perspective of decoding.The aim of the forth chapter is to summarize and examine the construction model and performance characteristics of the intercultural communication capacity of "Crash Landing on You" in China,in order to provide some thoughts for the creation of Chinese TV dramas.The fifth chapter is the conclusion and discussion,which summarizes the research findings and adds the shortcomings of the study and the future research direction. |
