Globalization has strengthened the intercultural communication of films and television products. Cross-cultural communication undoubtedly has the most extensive coverage. Popular culture, as the most popular forms of entertainment in the society, not only brings tremendous international income, but also promotes the international cultural exchange.The South Korean TV drama is very popular among young people and white-collar in the city. It not only creates a new record on ratings, but is also followed by a wave of interest in Korean culture spreading in China. Impact even involves in the food, clothing, living and so on. Immitation of Korea Plays stars becomes very common among urban young people, and many Korean cities and parks are people's preferred tourist destination. What is the deep reason behind the "Korea Plays" epidemic?This dissertation is divided into three chapters : Chapter I analyses the background of globalization for television cross-cultural, takes creation and dissemination into the global TV market environment. The second chapter focuses on the works' analysis and the value embodied in, that is, the reflection of Confucianism. To further explain that, the combination of modern and traditional beliefs and values is the fundamental reason for its appeal. Chapter III compares between the works of China and South Korea in accordance with different classification, providing some experience and analysis of its cross-cultural communication strategy, so as to expand domestic drama with some revelation.
