Robot technology has changed dramatically with the development of computer, cybernetics, sensor, artificial intelligence. Robot’s developing confirms the efforts made by many scientists. This article describes a design for security robot uppercomputer program which including upper computer system design, behavior planning, voice recognition, face detection and face recognition.The overall design of the host computer system determines the communication protocols between the master and slave. At the same time it decides the way how to divide the functional modules according to the functional requirements of the robot. We design a special data structure, and a dedicated communication protocol for the security robot.Behavior planning and voice recognition, this tow parts design robot’s action and reaction. Path planning determines the robot how to avoid obstacles, while the voice and action planning determines the robot how to respond commands.Face detection and face recognition help the robot to confirm the identity of visitors. During the image preprocessing, the article proposes a new way to find a face in an image more efficiency which based on skin color model and edge detection. This new mode can improve the result of Adaboost algorithm.
