Research On The Functional Orientation Of Provincial Public Libraries In My Country

With the development of the new era,the domestic library industry has gradually made good achievements,and the public library industry began to appear.On this level,many large library buildings were born,but also introduced a lot of new technology and equipment,every year not only invested a lot of capital costs in the construction of the library,expand the number of books,the number of readers,but also greatly increased the social attention.For public libraries,they must also face the innovation of service concepts and management models.Compared with other public libraries,Chinese provincial public libraries have relatively detailed functions and also face a complex background environment.Because provincial libraries have different degrees of government attention and economic development in different regions,an uneven library running situation has been formed.This paper combines theoretical research and empirical analysis,took Anhui provincial library for example,and studied its function orientation and service improvement.In addition to the works and papers from experts and scholars,the materials used in the article are also obtained from the author interviewing the staff and checking the documents related to the library.This paper focuses on the research status,research purpose,content and method.The author reviewed the literature and theory,positioning the function of the provincial library,on the basis of the function orientation improvement direction,finally comprehensive library,economics,administration,the function orientation and function improvement,the practical analysis,also gives the plan to improve the positioning.This paper,on the basis of analyzing the existing functions and service status of Anhui provincial libraries,combining with the history,culture,technology and economy of Wujiang,study the function orientation and service improvement,so as to explore and enlighten Chinese public libraries,especially promote the better development of Chinese provincial public libraries.
