Research On The Function Orientation Of Public Library Under The Background Of Smart City

As the main force of the socialist public cultural service system,public libraries play an irreplaceable role in the promotion of national cultural soft power.With the rapid development of society and economy,the urbanization of our country has risen unprecedentedly.At the same time,various urban problems have gradually emerged.The emergence of smart cities has brought about a new model of urban development and put forward new solutions to urban problems.The successful implementation of the pilot construction of smart cities shows that the construction of smart cities is in line with the new round of urbanization in China.The government should give enough attention and support.From the perspective of the evolution of public libraries,the function of public libraries always changes with the times.As a new direction of urban development,smart cities play a significant role in the function positioning of public libraries.At the same time,the new functional positioning of public libraries in the context of smart cities also determines the effectiveness of smart cities.First of all,this article gives a brief overview of the relevant concepts,main features,roles and values,and construction practices of smart cities,laying the groundwork for full-text research.Secondly,based on the analysis of the relevant national policies of smart cities and the functions and existing problems of traditional public libraries,it is found that there are problems in the development of public libraries such as unbalanced development and uneven distribution of the public libraries.Therefore,the reorientation of public library functions is inevitable.Row.Finally,the new functional positioning of public libraries in the context of smart cities is proposed,which mainly includes five aspects: promoting a good information environment,leading a learning society,stimulating social science and technology innovation,deepening cultural identity,and all-round ubiquitous services.Smart cities are the inevitable trend of future urban development.Public libraries should enhance and expand their functional orientation in this social context.The purpose of this dissertation research is to study the new functional orientation of public libraries in the context of smart cities,to be used in conjunction with the construction of smart cities,and to improve the cultural functions of smart cities;to increase public libraries in our country in the context of smart city construction.The influence in the cultural system provides the public with better services and at the same time meets the diverse needs of the people;it guides the intelligent construction of public libraries and provides direction and guidance for further research.
