"Eating Broadcasting" appears in the public's field of vision as a form of webcasting.Due to its low threshold,civilianization,and variety,more and more audiences are encouraged to watch and participate in "Eating Broadcasting",which has set off "Eat for All".Broadcast" boom.In recent years,with the rapid development of the short video industry,a new communication channel has been provided for "eat and broadcast".Based on the advantages of user-produced content,eating and broadcasting short videos quickly occupy major social and short video platforms.As the leading internet celebrity in the food and broadcasting industry,Mi Zijun's short videos on food and broadcasting are aimed at digging out special cuisines from all over the country,sharing the food and delivering happiness to the audience,and to a certain extent demonstrates my country's colorful food culture.By the audience's attention and love.This article combines semiotics-related theories with short videos like eating and broadcasting.As the research object of this article,Mi Zijun published 226 of them on the Weibo platform from January 2019 to December 2020.The video is a research sample.Comprehensive use of text analysis methods,in-depth interview methods and other research methods,comprehensively and multi-angle research and analysis of Mi Zijun's short video symbol representation of eating and broadcasting.The article divides the types of symbols used in its programs into verbal symbols and non-verbal symbols to explore,and analyzes the principle of symbol composition of the program,in order to explore whether the symbols appearing in the program and their composition principles express The role of food culture in our country.On this basis,the author further analyzes the communication effect of the short video symbols of eating and broadcasting,and combines the in-depth interview method to explore the deep meaning of the program through the interviews of the audience.Finally,this article proposes a further improvement path based on the current problems in the use of symbols in short videos of eating and broadcasting.The study found that Mi Zijun's short video about eating and broadcasting has prominent and complete use of symbols.Whether it is from the various types of symbols used in the program or the selection of the principles of symbol use,they have played a role in showing and spreading my country's food culture.At the same time,this article discusses the communication effect of eating and broadcasting short video symbols in combination with in-depth interviews and found that the use of language symbols in eating and broadcasting short videos can produce the effect of spreading the food culture of different regions in our country.The use of non-verbal signs can produce psychological satisfaction to the audience and actively share to achieve the effect of expanding the influence of communication.However,there are still shortcomings in the use of symbols in the current short videos of eating and broadcasting,mainly including the homogeneity of the communication symbols,the misalignment of program coding and decoding,and the insufficient transmission of the connotation of food culture.In the future,short videos of eating and broadcasting need to create a deeper meaning to convey,more integrate the connotative value of my country's food culture into the spread of symbolic meaning,and enhance the audience's emotional resonance and cultural identity with my country's food culture.
