The Way To Resolve The Dilemma

Living archives are the result of the continuous evolution of archives science,which is another new paradigm for archives development after the concepts of digital archives and smart archives being put forward.It is a guide to the future functional construction and morphological evolution of archives.Living archives is a concept in the context of Western culture and the result of the continuous shaping of Western social rules.The open and sharing of resources,the dynamic acquisition of knowledge,and the use of media technology are the core characteristics of Western living archives.The difference between Chinese and Western cultural contexts and social structures has led to differences in the concept and connotation of the construction of living archives.Copying the construction concepts and ideas of foreign living archives is prone to"unacceptable".Therefore,the construction of living archives must be combined with the development of times and national conditions.Recently,China has successively appeared in the Dawan Village Living Archives,Xixiutunpu Cultural Living Archives and other distinctive practices,but there could be improved.The paper is divided into three parts.The first part is the theoretical chapter,which includes the content of the first five chapters.The first chapter is introduction,which analyzes the background of the concept of living archives from four aspects:the reform of archives organization,the transformation of archives paradigm,the existence of"stereotype",and the squeezing of living space.Secondly,it introduces research significance,methods,contents,innovations and limitations.The second chapter is the literature review.Through comparison and analysis of number,publication period,and content of domestic and foreign documents,the hot issues are clarified.The third chapter is the evolution of the concept of living archives at home and abroad.The concept of living archives is the product of the mapping of archives in different eras,social structures,cultural environments and other national forms and social situations.The diversification of the concept of living archives is the inevitable result of the diversification of the field.The concepts of living archives in China and the West have their own characteristics.The overlap and fusion of different fields also making the concepts of living archives in China and the West have similarities.This article analyzes the evolution of the concept of living archives at home and abroad from the disciplinary paradigm that affects the concept of living archives(changes in the perspective of epistemology),from the perspectives of media archaeology,social memory,history,and sociology.The fourth chapter interprets the connotation of living archives.This chapter clarifies the definition of the living archives by analyzing the core characteristics of living archives,and interprets the connotation of living archives from time,space and value dimension.The fifth chapter is the soil and functional positioning of living archives.This chapter considers the inevitable trend of the construction of living archives from the two aspects of social situation and subject development.The context and social ecology have changed,and the functional positioning of living archives has also changed.Living archives should have four functions:a smart library for government decision-making,the distribution center of cultural services,the memory field of individual communities,and the digital pool of urban construction.The second part is practical experience.The sixth chapter is a practical perspective on the construction of living archives at home and abroad.The Swedish Living Archives Project and the Circus Oz Living Archives Project are selected as foreign case studies.The characteristics of the Swedish Living Archives project are analyzed from four aspects:research framework,research methods,cooperation methods,and tool development.The characteristics of the Oz Circus Living Archives are analyzed from three aspects:targeting user needs,converting the archive format,using "flat" ontology,multi-subject participation,and promoting data sharing.Anshun City Intangible Heritage Global Chain Living Archives are selected as a case analysis.The characteristics of the live archives of the intangible cultural heritage chain in Anshun are introduced from three aspects:resource aggregation,system support,and development and utilization.The third part is measures and suggestions.The seventh chapter is the dilemma and development path of the construction of living archives.This chapter analyzes the dilemmas faced by the construction of living archives from five aspects:the background layer,the resource layer,the technical layer,the service layer,and the management layer.Proposals were put forward from four aspects:equal emphasis on concept change and innovation drive,equal emphasis on resource collection and open utilization,equal emphasis on technological governance and humanistic care,and equal emphasis on diversified collaboration and talent training.
