Research On The Development Status Of District And County Museums In Jining

Since the 21 century,Museums in our country have increasingly become an indispensable part of people's lives.District and county-level museums are an important part of China's scientific and cultural undertakings,and play an inescapable role in preserving,studying,displaying,disseminating local culture and entertaining local people.However,in fact,from the current point of view,there is still a big gap between the development of grassroots museums and provincial and municipal museums in China in all aspects,whether in terms of infrastructure,collection management or display exhibitions,social services,etc.need to be further improved.This paper takes Jining district and county-level museums as case study objects,and conducts practical research on the development of state-owned and non-state-owned museums in the Jining area.We find that although there are many non-state-owned museums in Jining with a wide range of categories,they are generally poorly developed,with low levels of collection management,old displays,low visibility,and social public services due to the lack of talents and funds,which restrict the sustainable development of museums.Therefore,it is urgent to explore a suitable development path for regional and county-level museums.Although each county has its own geographical and cultural differences,the overall difference is not large,so the author hopes to learn from previous theoretical studies and the experience of better-developed museums in China,combined with the regional culture of the Jining area,to develop a set of museum development strategies specific to the Jining area,which can provide reference for state-owned museums,non-state-owned museums and the industry's own operational development,and give non-state-owned museums a clearer positioning and development goals.It also provides guidance for the development of museums in other regions of China at the district and county levels.This paper introduces the current situation of museum development in Jining,the problems and countermeasures in four aspects:museum infrastructure,collection management,display and exhibition,and public services,in order to find a unique development path for museums at the district and county level in Jining.
