| In recent years,against the backdrop of the country’s strong emphasis on grassroots museum construction and the central government’s continuous financial support for grassroots museums,county-level museums have sprung up,bringing a new dimension to the development of museums in China.As the main link between museums and the public,display exhibitions are responsible for disseminating local history and culture.However,due to the impact of global culture,many new or renovated museums have not explored the local characteristics of history and culture in depth,but have simply learned from the big museums,resulting in the phenomenon of "a thousand exhibitions in one".As a testament to the long history and splendid culture of the region,historical and cultural displays deserve attention,but at present the study of historical and cultural displays in county museums is still a weak link in the study of museology in China.In addition,compared with provincial and municipal museums,county museums generally have fewer collections,fewer researchers,less funding and other quantitative differences,which makes it difficult to display the history and culture of county museums in practice.The article takes the historical and cultural displays of county museums as a carrier,and on this basis focuses on the case of the Gaoqing County Museum in Zibo City,Shandong Province as a breakthrough,applying theory to practice and promoting theory from practice,to explore how the historical and cultural displays of county museums in China should be developed.This paper firstly gives a general overview of the historical and cultural displays in county museums in China,concluding that historical and cultural displays are the best form to condense local cultural characteristics,an important way to identify with local culture,an important medium to disseminate local history and an important hint to enlighten the future;secondly,it analyses the current situation of historical and cultural displays in county museums in Shandong Province,concluding that their historical and cultural displays are single,similar in content and not updated over the years.The second is an analysis of the current situation of historical and cultural displays in county museums in Shandong Province,which is characterised by a single display,similar content and not updated over the years.The theme of the display should highlight the local characteristics;after having a distinctive theme,the construction of the outline is another key aspect of the historical and cultural display to make it distinctive,and the current outline structure in Shandong can be divided into two types of chronicles and series of themes,but the unification of timelines and dynasties brings the structure of the display This paper proposes that the addition of narrative to the syllabus construction can effectively solve the above problem;it also puts into practice the above theoretical approach through the practice of the historical and cultural display of the Gaoqing County Museum,where the theme is closely focused on local characteristics and the innovative addition of chapter and verse narrative to the syllabus construction;finally,the paper proposes the future efforts of local historical and cultural displays in county museums in China.The article concludes by proposing a direction for future efforts in the display of local history and culture in county museums in China,which can be thought of in terms of widening the boundaries of museum staff and establishing a system of display and exhibition preparation,in the hope of providing some inspiration and reference for the display of history and culture in county museums in China. |
