Company A is a domestic supplier of basic software products and big data security solutions,and its Java EE application server products have a history of 20 years.In recent years,with the development of cloud computing industry,a company's customers have more and more demand for Java EE application server in cloud computing environment,so A company has carried out special transformation on its own products.In the early stage of Java EE project of A company,there were some serious problems,such as schedule delay,cost loss of change and unexpected delivery.After analysis,the reason lies in the waterfall model.Waterfall model is the most widely used software development project management model in the industry.The assumption of waterfall model is that the requirements are fixed.However,the reality of Java EE project of A company is that the requirements are changeable and gradually refined,which is the root cause of its failure.In this paper,through the in-depth analysis of project problems,combined with a large number of literature and industry research results,the iterative model solution is proposed,and according to the current situation of software project management of A company,the practical framework based on iterative model is mainly studied.The research contents of this paper include the following aspects:(1)This paper introduces the related concepts and theories of software project management to provide theoretical support and basis for the later research process,including Java EE application server,waterfall model,iterative model;(2)This paper introduces the background of Java EE project of A company,construction objectives and the status quo of project management,and focuses on the problems of resource waste,schedule delay and delivery deviation encountered in the project;(3)Aiming at the current situation and problems of Java EE project management in a company,this paper studies the optimization design of project management based on iterative model.Firstly,the advantages and necessity of iterative model are analyzed,and then the specific project management improvement design is given,which provides a theoretical framework for the implementation of project management optimization in A company;(4)Combined with the optimization scheme of iterative model,the practical optimization practice of Java EE project management of a company is carried out,including development management,continuous testing and integration,incremental delivery;(5)The implementation effect of the iterative model is described and evaluated,and its potential problems are analyzed,which provides a reference for the evaluation and further research of the iterative model in the future.The purpose of this paper is to show that the iterative model is effective for solving the project problems in the environment of uncertain requirements,and hope that the iterative model can get more attention and application.This paper can solve the problem of project management in the environment of uncertain demand,which is of great significance to the construction of fast-paced software projects.In practice,the research of this paper can provide the basis and reference for the model selection before the project implementation and the specific implementation of similar projects.In theory,the research of this paper can provide materials for the continuous research on iterative model in China.
