| The advancement of information technology has brought new requirements and new challenges to the work of archives.The traditional archives services are passive services,with single type,cumbersome service methods,and rough service content.The traditional archives are "center on collection".The traditional archives services cannot meet the public’s archival needs any more.Archives should actively apply the new generation of information technology to provide the public with comprehensive,convenient and intelligent services.In this paper,there is seven parts.The first part is an introduction.It mainly introduces the research background,research significance,domestic and foreign research reviews,the main research content,research methods and this paper’s innovations.The second part is about basic theoretical on archives’ smart service for the public.It mainly includes the definition of smart services for the public,the characteristics of smart services,the comparison between archives smart services and archives traditional services,and the basic types of smart services for the public.The third part is about core elements and their interrelationships of archives smart service for the public.Core elements of archives smart services include service object,service provider,service resource,service platform,and service management system.The archival needs of service object is the driving force of smart service.Service provider is the bridge between service object and service resource.Service resource is service content object,service platforms provide technical support and channel support for smart services,and service management system is important guarantee.The fourth part investigates current situation.By investigating and analyzing the archives portal service website,We Chat public account,Weibo,and other public-oriented archives service platforms,this part sorts out the status of public-oriented archives smart services,and then discover and summarize the problems that archives smart services for the public need to address.The fifth part provides suggestions for archives smart services for the public on resource management,platform construction,service model innovation,service team construction,and improvement of service management and supervision systems.The sixth part is case study.It analyzes smart services for the public developed by Qingdao Archives.This paper finds its highlights for the other archives.It points out the problems of Qingdao Archives,and provides suggestions for its future development.The last part is the conclusion of this article.To promote the development of public-oriented smart services,archives should strengthen the service team construction from three aspects: service awareness,team structure and collaborative cooperation.Archives should strengthen resource management from the three aspects of optimizing collection structure,promoting archive datifying and strengthening archive resource processing.Archives should strengthen the construction of service platforms from integrating smart city service platforms and strengthening the construction of mobile service platforms.Archives should innovate service models from providing personalized,participatory and self-service services.And archives should improve management from improving management systems and establishing service supervision systems. |
