Research On Governance Of Self-media News Extortion From The Age Of Micro-Communication

The development of new media has almost changed the ecological pattern of the entire traditional media.The low threshold of online reporting and the popularization of We Media have become crime soil for news extortion.We Media extortion is a variant of news extortion in the micro-communication era,it refers to an extortion behavior that some We Media people driven by interests,use their own “public opinion supervision” and “freedom of speech,taking the name of fairness and justice,with negative news and criticizing reports as means to extort high benefits from companies,governments and individuals.Due to the complexity,grassroots and pluralism of We Media speech,the phenomenon of We Media extortion has intensified in recent years,with its numerous carriers and complex participants,it has been concealed in various We Media communication platforms,causing very bad impact on the basic rights and interests of citizens,the property safety of enterprises,the credibility of medias and even the entire social order.In 2018,when Chen Jieren and other media extortion cases were reported,it aroused social uproar and heated discussion in the journalism and jurisprudence circles.The cause of We Media extortion is complicated,the situation is very serious and the governance experience is lacking.Therefore,the study of the nature and thoughts on governance of such cases has important academic and practical significance for the future governance of We Media extortion.This article starts from the perspective of communication,and supplements the literature research method,content analysis method,case analysis method and other research methods to deeply analyze We Media extortion.This study focuses on the phenomenon of extortion of We Media news in the micro-communication era,especially focusing on the new characteristics,development trends and formation factors of this phenomenon in the new media environment,thus providing some innovative ideas for the governance of We Media extortion in China.This article first defines and outlines micro-communication and We Media news extortion;Secondly,the content analysis method is used to analyze the new characteristics from the evolution of We Media news extortion in the decade of2009-2019,and to explore its future development trend based on the research results;Then,the article summarizes the reasons for the formation of We media news extortion,and explores the deeper structural factors of anomie behind it,including the lack of law and supervision at macro level,the lack of self-discipline in WE media industry at medium level,actors and the object of extortion at micro-level and other factors.Thirdly,in the fifth chapter,the author conducts a more detailed analysis through comparative study with foreign news,laws and regulations,and summarizes the advanced models and experience of foreign governance on we media and news extortion,so as to better examine China's shortcomings in the process of governance on we media extortion,in the hope of providing some innovative ideas to solve this problem base on China's national conditions.Finally,based on the study of the previous cases,the analysis of the formation factors,and the lessons drawing from the experience of foreign advanced governance,the author draws the conclusion of this paper: It is suggested to start with the three parties of we media field – operators of we media platforms,related supervision department of government,and we media legislation,the author believes that the governance on we media extortion should be government-led,through the improvement of we media speech legislation,the construction of we media public opinion supervision system,the improvement of the platform's control mechanism and other methods to form a multi-governance pattern to promote the healthy,orderly and stable development of we media in China.
