Methods of Governance news extortion should be industry self-discipline, ethical standards of news industry along with the whole society should be improved. By the mean time, the function of supervision by public opinions should be perfected, the management system for staff of media should be optimized, in order to boost the reformation and evolution of news industry. Punishment can only be the last line of defence of news extortion regulation, only adhere to the correct exercise of supervision by public opinion given by the people's rights, from the aspects of prevention, supervision and punishment strength, insisting on a variety of treatment approaches,can we effectively put an end to the news extortion.
