With the rapid development of Internet and new media,the number of online variety show is growing.However,the variety shows are uneven in quality,such as poor content and distortion of values.It has a negative impact on the public.Therefore,it is a time that giving online variety show some added value and more culture meaning.Street Dance of China is a online variety show,which devoted the dissemination of street dance culture in China.Since the broadcast of the program,it triggered a heated debate.From the perspective of cultural communication,this article chooses the two-season programs of Street Dance of China to make qualitative analysis of cultural communication strategies by using cultural semiotics and other cultural communication theories.Because communication strategy is a means and method,firstly,through the integrated analysis of the communication strategies of each period of the program,this paper divided it into three levels of communication strategies--the propaganda interaction of the program,the use of cultural symbols and the operation of industrialization.So we discussed how Street Dance of China can export the culture of street dance to the public successfully.Secondly,based on this,Street Dance of China shows the characteristics of cultural communication to be summarized and classified.This research believes,as a online variety show,Street Dance of China through its reasonable cultural communication strategy,achieved the symbolic presentation of street dance culture,the active integration of excellent Chinese culture and multi-channel building of street dance brands,thus facilitating the break of circle limit of street dance culture and promoting the localization of foreign culture.Finally,this article puts forward the corresponding development suggestion to the cultural communication of online variety show in our country.It is believed that high quality content is necessary to the program.At the same time,strengthening cultural innovation in our country,paying more attention to the interaction with the audience,joining hands with e-commerce and other industries to open up the cultural brand industry chain are also important.On this account,the online variety show can improve cultural communication effect better,stimulate cultural vitality and build cultural confidence.
