With the rapid development of digital technology,the integration of traditional media and new media has become an inevitable trend.The ecology of information transmission is undergoing great changes.Technological innovation constantly subverts the traditional way of receiving information,reshapes the pattern of news production.The way of news report changes from single graphic presentation to dynamic video presentation,and news media pay more and more attention to user experience.From the perspective of media convergence,the audience's fast-food,mobile and fragmented media usage habits have driven them to start watching short video news.Concise short videos can realize the full coverage of life scenes,directly reach the user terminal,meet their multiple needs of information awareness,stress relief and social sharing,and attract the user's attention in a short time.Nowadays,short video's cooperation with advertising,e-commerce,and social platforms also shows a rapid trend,forming a new industry pattern of "short video +" and becoming an important channel for media integration.Facing the fierce market competition,how can short video news achieve new breakthroughs in the future? This is an urgent problem to be solved.As the first generation of mobile news and video production team in China,the Beijing News "We video" has been the first echelon of short video news in China since it was launched in 2016.There is no previous experience to copy,"We video" has achieved a win-win situation of quality and public praise with news works of "high speed,excellent quality and emphasis on humanity"."We video" demonstrated the pioneering spirit and outstanding innovation ability.It becomes a good model for newspaper transformation in the media industry.Faithfully record the image of the times,truly show the joy of the Jianghu,"We video" adheres to the innovative concept,becomes the integrated content production platform of video and graphics,and is a banner of the transformation from traditional media to video.This paper selects "We video" as a research case,combined with the literature analysis method,content analysis method and interview method,to conduct a detailed study on the innovative strategy of short video news in China,which is very representative.First,by combing the media convergence and the development of short video news in China,the communication characteristics of short video news are clarified,and the relationship between media convergence and short video news is clarified.Secondly,taking "We video" as the research object,this paper analyzes the evolution of "We video" from four dimensions: production subject,space scene,narrative technique and communication paradigm.It is found that the innovation path of "We video" in three aspects of team mode,content production,and dissemination and distribution is of great significance to the self innovation of short video news in China in the future.On this basis,based on the current situation of China's short video market,this paper puts forward its own thoughts and opinions on the development dilemma of China's short video news,and puts forward innovative strategies from the three dimensions of content presentation,dissemination and distribution,and talent supervision,trying to provide positive suggestions and countermeasures for the development of short video news industry in China.
