| In recent years,with the coming era of the convergence media,great changes have taken place in news dissemination.Short videos based on social medias have developed rapidly in the past two years.Various short video applications have emerged in our life.Major news medias have also set up short video sections on their platforms.Therefore,as a very important part of the news field,international news has also been continuously updated.The major medias are enriching the ways of international news dissemination and updating their communication concepts.This article focuses on the intersection of the two lines of international news and news short video.It takes the short-lived video news of the Xinhua News Agency's "Global Shooting Studio" as the research text,explores how it succeeds in the fierce competition and establishes its own brand.The content analysis method is used to conduct the research.Its news official microblog released a total number of 167 short lived video microblogs from September 7,2017 to April 8,2018.This article selects these 167 articles as research samples.Focuses on content analysis of research samples,the research goes on from 8 explicit dimensions:the topic of video content,video distribution time in one day,video source,video length,caption addition,logo addition,continuous report of the same news event,and bias in the video to analyze the short video products of the global shooting studio.I find that the topics of short video news are rich,most of short videos are shot by professional reporters,most of the videos have Xinhua International's logo.Except for these advantages,the number of videos are far from enough;The production of the video is not exquisite;Multimedia technology are not used in most of the videos.In short,the global shooting studio has taken the forefront in the field of short video international news although in many ways what it has done is not perfect.On the whole,advanced development concepts and an audience-centered attitude will make it a recognized brand in the field of international news. |
