Research On Open Access Of Digitized Ancient Books In Chinese Public Libraries

Open access has grown from development to development,breaking the traditional mode of information dissemination,driving information resources to reintegrate,and infiltrating into various fields with a new type of information exchange and resource sharing concepts.At the same time,traditional ancient books and literature have followed the footsteps of science and technology to enter the digital era,and collide with open access to create a new spark.The thesis aims at the open access of digitized ancient books in domestic public libraries,and then through research and practical experience,I found that there are many problems in the realization of open access,resource construction,system management and publicity and promotion.On the basis of drawing on advanced foreign experience,the author proposes to establish the concept of co-construction and sharing,to effectively enhance the awareness of copyright protection,to break the barriers to construction,and to clarify the thinking of resource construction,improve the resource integration system,formulate digital standards and norms,and improve the construction of user feedback evaluation mechanism.It aims to build an open access environment for ancient books with a more open service model,more reasonable resource integration,and more convenient document utilization,and promote the realization and upgrade of the shared service model of ancient book open access resources among domestic public libraries.This article is divided into seven chapters:Chapter one Introduction explains the research background and significance,clarifies the research object,and conducts a literature review of open access,digitization of ancient books and open access to digitized ancient books.Chapter two defines the concepts related to ancient books,open access and digital ancient books open access,discusses the value of ancient books and the profound significance of public library open access to ancient books.Chapter three investigates the current status of open access to digitalized ancient books in domestic libraries,and selects 20 public libraries,including the Shanghai Library,Nanjing Library,and Zhejiang Province Library,to conduct detailed investigations from three aspects: resource disclosure,resource construction,and service model.Then usequestionnaires to understand user usage.Chapter fourth analyzes the survey data and finds that there are many obstacles in the open access of digitized ancient books in public libraries in China,and there are deficiencies in resource construction,system management and publicity.Chapter five select foreign classic cases for detailed analysis,summarizes the characteristics of open access to foreign digitized ancient books,and provides experience for the realization and upgrade of the open access of digital ancient books and literatures in public libraries in China.Chapter sixth is aimed at the problems raised in the fourth chapter,on the basis of drawing on foreign experience,from the four levels of open access,resource construction,system management and publicity and promotion,put forward countermeasures and suggestions.Chapter seven mainly summarizes the existing problems and countermeasures of the open access of digitized ancient books in domestic public libraries.
