"Chinese restaurant 3",an experiential reality show launched by hunan TV in 2019,has attracted wide attention since its release.The production of the show conforms to the requirements of "tell China's story well".The experiential reality show Chinese restaurant 3 focuses on the communication of Chinese traditional food culture in foreign countries,skillfully integrates Chinese food and reality shows,and spreads the charm of Chinese traditional food culture while providing entertainment for the public,thus becoming a well-received program.In the experiential reality show "Chinese restaurant 3",the role images played by celebrity guests in the program are hotly discussed by the audience.When the audience watches the program,they change their focus from the Chinese food promoted in the program to the role images presented by celebrity guests.This paper analyzes the influence of the role presentation of celebrity guests on the transmission of the program theme from five parts.The first part defines the relevant concepts mentioned in the paper,and sorts out the experiential reality show Chinese restaurant 3 to support the following case analysis.The second part makes a detailed analysis of the role presentation motivations of star guests in experiential reality shows from the three dimensions of program demand,audience demand and personal demand of stars.The third part,with the help of goffman's "front and back theory",focuses on the analysis of the role of the star guest in Chinese restaurant 3.The fourth part focuses on the analysis of the role image presentation.With the help of goffman's play-making theory,it analyzes the role positioning of the program,the way of expression of the celebrity guests during the presentation,and the role image of the celebrity guests.The fifth part points out the problems in the program,draws the conclusion of this paper,and puts forward the countermeasures.Through the analysis,it is found that as the core elements of the program,star guests' roles in the program,to a certain extent,affect the dissemination of the cultural connotation and core values of the program.I hope that the program makers can better play the star effect in the future,and explore the direction of reality show production from the perspective of cultural value.
