Since the last 90’s, the reality show“Big brother” made by the Holland television production company is shown on Veronica TV station, instantly popular in the world. Subsequently, various kinds of reality shows popular around the world, makes the program a kind of art form across the country.In June 2000, the reality show “Survival challenge” of Guangdong TV began to broadcast, for the first time for China to appreciate the charm of reality show. In 2005, the success of reality show “Super girl” shown on Hunan TV and “My show” broadcast on Dragon TV makes this year as a year of China rapid development in the field of reality show. In 2012, the extraordinary popular of “Thank god, you’re here” made by CCTV, “Who’s still standing” of Jiangsu TV, “Your face sounds familiar” of Hunan TV, “The voice of China” of Zhejiang TV make the reality show in China is “emerging” on TV screen in this year. Into 2013, the reality show such as “I am a singer”, “Where are we going, dad?” the second season “The voice of China”, “Step up”, “Stars in danger” are spectacular. To 2014, “Running man”, “The Amazing Race”, “12 taste of Feng”, “Grade one” and some other Chinese reality shows, imported from abroad and or from domestic independent research and development of television, which lasted for the glorious reality show in 2012, and the consumption was focus on the stars, makes the star reality show shine in the reality show in China market at present.This article will focus on the star reality show “Running man” which shown on Zhejiang TV in 2014, combined with the audience psychology related theory, and analysis for Development Strategy reality show. In the first quarter as an example for analysis, combined with the audience face to face psychological theories, was studied. This paper reviews the origins of the reality show, and analyze the reality show’s charm and the reason why having high ratings thanks authenticity, rules of the game show the diversity of the unpredictability of the outcome, to meet the audience The "voyeurism" and high returns.
