A Study On Late Night TV Variety Shows In Japan

With the continuous prosperity and development of Japanese TV communication industry,Japanese late-night TV variety shows have gradually developed and matured,and their audiences and influence have gradually expanded.Japanese late-night TV variety shows,with various types,are an epitome of Japanese TV variety shows and an important part of Japanese TV culture.With many years of innovation and practice,it has many successful examples in the program content mode,innovative thinking and post-production,and carries certain social and cultural value,which is worth learning from.The research purpose of this paper is to try to break away from the domestic stereotype of "vulgar and unlimited" and explore the special value embodied in the development trend of Japanese society through in-depth analysis of the characteristics and development motivation of late-night TV variety shows in Japan.In addition,it provides some new ideas for the production mode,content innovation and development of late-night programs of China's variety shows.This paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter analyzes theresearch background and practical significance of this topic in the context of today's variety show market,as well as the current research status at home and abroad.The second chapter briefly combs the development course and several basic types of late-night TV variety shows in Japan.Chapter 3 and chapter 4take two different types of late night files as examples,"the night before the moon" and "can I come to your home with you?" For the entrance,the content analysis and comparative research methods are used to analyze the similarities and differences between the two programs in content mode,post-production and value orientation,so as to explore the basic features of the whole late-night TV variety shows in Japan.The fifth chapter is based on the previous analysis,from different perspectives to explore the root causes of the above characteristics.The last chapter,based on the similarity of the variety show market environment between China and Japan,analyzes the enlightenment and reference that Japanese late-night TV variety show can bring to the development of Chinese variety show.Through the research,the following conclusions are drawn: after a long period of exploration and modification,the early prominent vulgar features of Japanese late-night TV shows have been gradually abandoned and standardized.Its original features of low cost and small production make the excellent late-night shows have the following characteristics: unique original themes and new forms,rich and interesting variety show elements,and highly inclusive and open to meet the needs of the audience.The basic features of Japan's late-nighttelevision variety also reflects the modern Japanese society outstanding consumerism culture as well as to the multiple values of tolerance,the era characteristics on the development of society and the audience need also proves that late-night television variety in today's society and the rationality of the existence of our country with a similar culture,it also has the huge development potential.
