In 2005,the video sharing site YouTube was launched in the United States,opening the UGC era of video programs,emphasizing the individual as the core,allowing each user to be the author.Subsequently,2005-2006 years,China's Tudou,Youku,respectively established,opened the Chinese video program "UGC" era.In this period,network users upload their own videos or programs,but due to the lack of professional,the quality of the program is uneven,some scholars have attributed it to "alternative media".In 2007,the video site began to explore the program homemade,professional quality content was born.Sohu launched a video homemade variety show "Dapeng tinkling tinkling it" on the Internet,cumulative hits sung 1 billion,it also opened the door to a variety of internet.In 2014,Iqiyi's Online variety show,"Weirdo Talk",lit the Internet again.The first three seasons were over 1 billion 700 million,and the fourth quarter was over 400 million yuan.In 2016,Internet users over 700 million,in such a prosperous situation,the online variety show ushered in the outbreak,the major video sites in the "thunder capital" of power,have launched their own variety show,they put the "Internet broadcast technology" and "barrage" interactive technology into the program.The analysis of "big data technology" applied to the user behavior in.Based on these changes,the online variety show in the process of continuous development,more and more reflect the independent aesthetic features.For example,365 days,24 hours of uninterrupted live variety show;in order to have more close to the Internet users,to select the "guest" and "topic" according to big data program;and enable amateur guests a variety show.Online variety show and traditional TV variety show,from the form to the content produced a big difference.Online variety show can be roughly divided into two stages,one is the network television variety show,"from 2007 to 2014,Dapeng tinkling tinkling it" the "wonderful" as the representative,although the program has begun to reflect the content of the topic on the Internet culture,but this period is mainly the form of TV program two is a pure Internet feature;variety show,2015 Tencent video reality show "15 of us" in the special APP on the 365 day,24 hours uninterrupted live,really belongs to the properties of the online variety show,different from the TV variety show.It can be said that the aesthetic characteristics of the online variety show are closely related to the technical characteristics and cultural characteristics of the internet.In this paper,through literature analysis,case analysis method and data analysis,the Tencent,Iqiyi,and Youku online variety show as the main case,it is divided into six parts to summarize the development status and media characteristics of the online variety show.The first and second part is the introduction and online variety show outline research,and summarizes the online variety show and TV variety show some differences;the third and fourth part is through the online variety show on the network media characteristics and case analysis to elaborate its status;the fifth and sixth part aims at the existing problems of the online variety show and puts forward the countermeasure discussion.
