With the continuous development and improvement of technology,the era of smart home has quietly arrived.Among them,computer vision plays an increasingly important role as the eye of the device,and image acquisition and transmission as the most important part of computer vision has also become the current hot research direction.In the past,image acquisition systems based on single-chip computers or DSP systems could not achieve efficient transmission of image data.At the same time,traditional VGA and HDMI wired display methods limited the flexibility of image transmission.How to transmit higher-quality,higher-speed,and more-flexible images brings new challenges.An FPGA-based video acquisition and preprocessing terminal is designed in this article.This system uses an FPGA chip capable of transmitting data in parallel as the core processor.The image datas collected by TW2867 are stored in DDR3.On the basis of using CH7301 C and SIL9134 to realize the traditional VGA and HDMI image dispay methods,this system uses the EC20 4G wireless tramsmisssion module to send image data on the mobile netword,and the remote terminals can access image data through B/S or C/S,which breaks through the limitation of traditional wired image data transmission and greatly increases the distance and flexibility of image transmission.At the same time,in order to improve the speed and efficiency of image transmission,this paper inplements JPEG compression preprocessing on image data in FPGA.Not only can the system developed in this article only improve the disadvantages of traditional image transmission,but also the Beidou GPS positioning function of the 4G module can be used in maritime drone rescue,which greatly improves the efficiency of search and rescue.This makes that the FPGA platform is also an excellent choice in maritime rescue.
