Since the 21 st century,with the gradual popularization of information technology,wireless sensor network(WSN)as a new network technology has received more and more attention from scholars at home and abroad.The wireless sensor network is mainly composed of various sensor nodes randomly distributed in the monitoring area.Due to the limited energy of its nodes,it cannot provide continuous energy supply.The life cycle is always an important issue.As a key communication protocol for the performance of wireless sensor networks,routing protocol has an important impact on the energy consumption of the network nodes and the network life cycle.The LEACH protocol is the first clustered routing protocol in WSN.Its implementation mechanism is simple and can improve the network life cycle to a certain extent.However,there are still problems such as randomly selecting cluster heads and not well balancing the energy consumption of network nodes.This paper studies clustering routing protocols.Based on the in-depth study of the LEACH protocol mechanism,an energy-balanced clustering routing protocol is proposed with the goal of balancing network energy consumption and improving the network life cycle.main tasks as follows:(1)In the cluster,for the LEACH protocol cluster head election,the remaining energy of the node is not considered,and the remaining energy factor and distance factor are added to optimize the cluster head election.Through simulation experiments,the residual energy weight and distance weight in the cluster head election formula in the experimental scenario are obtained.(2)Between clusters,in order to make the energy consumption of each node more balanced,the division of the area is added,that is,the ring area with different widths is divided around the convergence node,and the width of different ring areas is based on the area covered by the cluster head in the ring.The radius is divided.By dividing the area,the original cluster-head single-hop communication method is changed to a single-hop and multi-hop transmission method,which improves the information transmission between clusters.Finally,on the MATLAB simulation platform,simulation experiments were carried out on the improved protocol and the traditional LEACH protocol.The experimental results show that compared with the LEACH protocol,the improved protocol has a better effect in reducing and balancing energy consumption,and ultimately improves the life cycle of the network.
