An important part of the radar signal simulator design is clutter analog design. One of the important design criterions for the evaluation of the radar signal simulator performance is the accuracy, versatility and flexibility of clutter model. In modern radar system testing and simulating, we view clutter signal as a stationary random sequence. Four commonly used amplitude distribution models:Rayleigh distribution, lognormal distribution, Weibull distribution, K distribution clutter are introduced in this paper, and makes use of zero memory nonlinearity(ZMNL) and spherically invariant random process method(SIRP)to imitate and emulate the time-domain waveform and power spectral curve. The paper focuses on and simulates the sea clutter noise signal which compiles the K distribution and produces the analog signal waveform which complies with the K distribution clutter by the D/A converter. The paper tells the hardware implementation structure based on the FGPA platform and analyses the results of the simulation, explains the validity of the model produced. This method has versatility, we can take advantage of the design of this system to produce sea clutter which complies with the other distribution, and provides a convenient and accurate operation to detect the pros and cons of the radar performance.
