With the development of the Integrated Circuits manufacturing processes and EDA tools,the design scale,working frequency and power density of integrated circuits are becoming larger and larger.Because of the improvement of process and performance,the second-order physical effects caused by non-ideal factors become more serious.IR drop,electromigration,crosstalk noise,interconnect delay and other factor make it difficult to ensure the reliability of the back-end physical design.The IR drop and electromigration have become an important sign-off index that ensure the chip's actual performance is consistent with the design performance.This thesis research on power network design and power integrity analysis which based on an AMOLED driver chip.Firstly,the basic knowledge of analyzing power network and the principle of power integrity are introduced.a)The structure of power network in electronic systerm and the structure of power network in chip.b)The infulence of package form on power network.c)Two methods of analysising IR drop: static analysis and dynamic analysis.d)Power analysis: power generation principle and power calculation method.Then a theoretical method of power network parameter caculation is studied,and we completed the power network of AMOLED driver chip accroding to this method,it mainly includes: a)Complete the circuit modeling of the power network.b)Caculate the design parameters of power network to prove the feasibility of the design.Finally,we check the power network with the Red Hawk tool in different analysis method.In this thesis,static IR drop analysis at different design stages is completed by using vectorless analysis and event-driven analysis.In the dynamic analysis,this thesis complete the event-driven analysis with VCD files.d)To solve the problem of dynamic IR-drop,two design methods are proposed,and then we use the HSPICE tool to prove their effectiveness.At the end of the thesis,the power network design and power integrity analysis of AMOLED driver chip are completed.The static and dynamic IR drop of AMOLED driver chip are controlled within 5%.
