As an important technology supporting the development of the Internet of Things, wireless sensor networks have been widely used in environmental monitoring, industrial inspection, and intelligent transportation. With the development of society, the diversity of application scenarios of the Internet of Things has brought new challenges to the networking of wireless sensor networks. Some practical application scenarios require that the WSNs can achieve large-scale fast and flexible networking, such as deployment by unmanned equipment or aircraft spraying. The location of the equipment distribution is random. In these scenarios,in order to meet the fast and flexible networking needs of large-scale wireless sensor networks, low cost and lightweight equipment are required for wireless sensors, and the network has the characteristics of low power consumption and high life cycle.Existing WSN routing protocols are difficult to balance people's requirements for low power consumption, low cost, and easy deployment in large-scale scenarios. Therefore,we propose the Ease of Deployment Cluster Routing Protocol(EDCRP)for large-scale wireless sensor networks. The research is divided into two parts. The first part is the study of clustering algorithms based on random listening.Existing large-scale wireless sensor routing protocols are either based on fixed routing designs, requiring manual deployment of network management and routing nodes,or relying on base stations or inter-node communication to provide node location coordinates. These solutions increase the complexity of network deployment. At the same time, frequent communication between nodes in large-scale and high-density scenarios cause network congestion, resulting in increased delay. The existing protocols usually adopt a cluster structure to solve the problems of delay and delivery rate in large-scale wireless sensor networks.EDCRP proposes an adaptive large-scale WSN clustering scheme, which implements adaptive clustering through broadcasts based on random listening between nodes, and satisfies Life-cycle and delivery ratio requirements with reducing networking costs and increasing networking flexibility. The second part is about routing algorithms with low power consumption and high delivery ratio.Randomly scattered nodes in a large range of scenes easily cause cluster-to-cluster communication difficulties.EDCRP designs a routing select scheme based on beacon listening to reasonably distribute routing nodes in the network under adaptive requirements.Under the premise of ensuring that the communication delay meets the basic business requirements between different clusters, the number of data forwarding times of a single node is reduced as much as possible, and the energy consumption of nodes is reduced to achieve the goal of extending the life cycle of the entire network. In order to reduce the chip cost of a single sensor,EDCRP makes the algorithm simple and efficient when designing the protocol,in order to reduce the protocol's storage and computing requirements.
