literacy.At present,we are in the scientific stage of public understanding of scientific communication.It assumes that the public has a certain"lack" of scientific understanding.They lack the necessary scientific knowledge,certain scientific cognition,scientific literacy and scientific spirit.Therefore,the public cannot take the initiative to receive science.At this time,the scientific community needs to communicate science to the public in an effective way so that they can better understand science.scientific news is the main channel for science communication.The scientific and scientific and scientific characteristics of scientific news are determined by the professionalism and rigor of the scientific concept.The gap between the public and scientific and technological information during the dissemination process.News readability is a measure of the public's interest in reading.In scientific news,the higher the level of public interest in scientific news,the higher the readability.At the same time,the higher the level of public interest in scientific news,the more they can understand and absorb scientific and technological information in the text.To this end,we take news readability as a measure of the effectiveness of scientific communication.In the course of the questionnaire,we found that the cognitive mechanism of text has a decisive influence on the readability of news.Therefore,we start with the cognitive mechanism and discourse strategies of scientific news,and discuss how they play a decisive role in the readability of news and how to eliminate the gap in scientific communication and enable the public to receive,Accept scientific and technological information,understand science,and thus affect the effect of scientific communication.This paper relies on scientific communication and cognitive linguistics as the theoretical basis,and mainly adopts research methods of questionnaire survey and text analysis.The third chapter adopts a questionnaire survey method,using news readability as an index to measure the effect of scientific communication.It is obtained that the cognitive mechanism and discourse strategies in scientific news discourse play a role in determining the content and form of news readability.The fourth and fifth chapters adopt the text analysis method,taking the traditional scientific news media"Science and Technology Daily" and the new media Guokr as the case analysis objects,and analyze the application and effect of the discourse cognitive mechanism and discourse strategies.From the perspective of cognitive linguistics,this article explores the cognitive mechanism of metaphor,metaphor,and conceptual integration of scientific news,and clearly shows how discourse is conceptualized and visualized by the producer.It also enables discourse understanders to better understand how their conceptualized and visualized mechanisms and processes are generated and how they work for them.How to determine the readability of news content,make scientific knowledge better communicated and accepted to the public,and eliminate the cognitive barriers brought about by scientific,professional and intellectual news.The three discourse strategies unique to scientific news that embed "fun" into the discourse of the report,enrich the discourse information with extended content,and express with image discourse determine the readability of the news form.It is no different from the contemporary media era.The technology news of mobile clients attracts readers to click and read through "interesting" discourse expressions.The reporting form of financial media provides the public with interesting scientific and technological information and supplements scientific knowledge from a comprehensive,multi-angle and multi-level.The addition of video pictures in new media science and technology news and the emergence of short video news forms further visualize discourse strategies,this article proposes discourse strategies specifically for science and technology news.Combining the characteristics of the era of the media,these discourse strategies can help science and technology news to be better accepted by the audience,and scientific knowledge can be spread more smoothly.Finally,in terms of the communication effect of cognitive mechanism and discourse strategy,this article takes news readability as an index to measure the effect of communication.The audience is the main object of news readability.The effect of readability represents the audience's
