| Currently,open access extends from open access journals to open access academic books,data,infrastructure,and research processes at all levels,not only in academia,but also in the business environment.Due to the high cost and small audience of academic books,the process of peer review is different from that of academic journals,which makes the problem of open access to academic books more prominent.Based on this,more and more scholars,institutions and countries focus their research on the field of open access to academic books,and try to study the open access to academic books from the aspects of open access policy and mode.Based on the British university press as the research category,open and open access to academic books as the research subject,from a British university press regulation of academic books open access(open degree,licensing,and quality monitoring)and model(financing mode,business mode and publishing model),two dimension to the analysis of current British university press books open access,academic and research library in the implementation of open and sharing link the facing problems and solutions,and the future of our country academic books open access development put forward some constructive Suggestions.The author hopes to provide reference for the development of open access to books in China through the study of this paper. |
