The Mobilization Of Public Opinion In The Land Reform Movement Of The Northeast Bureau Of The CPC Central Committee

The land reform launched by the Northeast Bureau of the CPC Central Committee abolished the feudal land system,realized “land to the tiller” and provided human and material resources for the War of Liberation.As an organ newspaper of the Northeast Bureau of the CPC Central Committee,the Northeast daily actively reported the dynamic of the land reform movement,spread the advanced experience and methods of carrying out the land reform work in various regions,publicized the deeds of the activists emerging in the land reform movement,exposed the cruel facts of feudal exploitation of the landlord class,and played an important role in mobilizing public opinion for the land reform movement in Northeast China.From the perspective of news communication theory,this paper analyzes the topic construction process and the characteristics of news reports of the land reform movement in Northeast China by northeast daily,and tries to explore the strategies and effects of the public opinion mobilization work of the Northeast Bureau of the CPC Central Committee during the land reform movement.From 1946 to 1948,the Northeast Bureau of the CPC Central Committee gained the peasants' political identity through the consciousness of the opposition of the enlightenment class and the construction of political identity symbols;achieved emotional mobilization with the ritualized behavior of complaint struggle;realized organizational integration with the strategy of cultivating activists to join the party and endowing them with political rights.The reports on land reform issued by the Northeast Daily carried out a systematic and complete topic construction of the land reform movement with typical report materials,diversified report perspectives and vivid report style,promoted the party's land policy in the northeast,raised the public recognition and provided human and material resources to support the national liberation war.
