Economic Monthly of Official Bank of Three Northeastern Provinces(hereinafter referred to as Economic Monthly)is a special financial publication of the official bank of the Three Northeastern Provinces,edited and issued by the Editorial Office of the Official Bank of the Three Northeastern Provinces in May 1929.The purpose of this publication is to introduce Chinese and foreign economic theories,investigate the commercial situation,guide the finance of the eastern province,inspire the local industries,and improve the business of this journal,other while Economic Monthly publishes research monograph and survey on bank,agriculture,industry,business.Economic Monthly is published every month in 16 folio format with vertical type printing.Each issue ranges from 200 to 300 pages,and the content is extremely detailed.The columns include treatises,special articles,translation,economic survey,financial and trade news,international business news and departmental information,etc.Economic Monthly has reported in detail all aspects closely related to the policy of"New Construction in Northeast China",recorded the operation of the economy in Northeast China during the period of "New Construction",made people better understand the movement of "New Construction in Northeast China" in the ideological and cultural field,and provided a new perspective for the study of "New Construction in Northeast China".This paper attempts to make a comprehensive analysis of the establishment of Economic Monthly and its reflected contents,so as to objectively understand the tendency,historical influence and research value of Economic Monthly.This paper focuses on the financial periodical "Economic Monthly",which is explored and studied in four parts.The first part of the article analyzes the general situation of the economic monthly,including the founding organization,the author's brief introduction,the column setting and the literature statistics,so that readers can grasp the specific situation of the economic monthly.The second and third parts of the article focus on the content of the Economic Monthly.Articles will be classified in the journal of Economic Monthly,the second part mainly expounds two important problems on the financial and economic,the third part is mainly introduced to the study of northeast economic.The Economic Monthly encircle the northeast economic issue of financial reform and industrial rescue,stereoscopic displaying in the northeast China in this era.The last part of the article is summary,the article evaluates the Economic Monthly,analyzing the positive impact on the Economic Monthly,namely the academic contributions?historical influence and realistic enlightenment,meanwhile examines the officer of the Economic Monthly exist limitations,in order to criticize the purpose of objective evaluation.
